Hundreds of visitors strolled through the grounds of the Westport Historical Society and Veterans Green last weekend for the Second Annual Ultimate Sale, where a record number of antiques vendors displayed their wares.

Young and old alike enjoyed the lively sounds of Bluegrass band, Big Appleachia.

Plenty of refreshments, including ice cream, slushies, fried chicken and hot food were available
for those taking a break from shopping.

Families took advantage of the Society's shady grounds for impromptu picnicking,
and also found time to relax before taking on more shopping!

Shoppers looked for special treasures, and children enjoyed special programs including unique arts and crafts projects. "We are delighted with the increased popularity of the Ultimate Sale as more and more people look forward to this event with its eclectic offerings and our superb exhibitions," commented WHS executive director, Denise Torv.
