Election Day! Looking for lots of terrific kids!!!

Who Can Believe it!!!
Yes, the theme for this year’s holiday children’s program seems a bit “off” for Election Day, but afterall, who can believe how much has happened in a year? Not just our new president, his choice for Supreme Court Justice, his move to the White House with his family and new puppy! But, this is a time for all of our young participants to “reflect” on their own year and ask, “Who can believe it!” “What did I do this year?” “In a year, how have I made a difference?!”
What can happen in a year? So much, and most of us never take the time to reflect. So, let’s allow our children that wonderful opportunity to look outward and inward. Children should revel in their growth and successes, reflect on the things about which they are passionate…. and dream! Yes, dream about where they might be one year from now. What do they want to accomplish? What is a “goal” anyway, and is it ok for “goals” to change? You bet it is.
So much to think about.
So much to share with others.
So many activities we can do as we celebrate Election Day!
Crafts, stories, creating, sharing.. maybe cooking and special guests… but no matter what… lots of fun and wonderful time together!!!
Children from K-5th are welcome to join our Holiday Program at WHS, from 10-3pm on Election Day, November 3rd. $55 for members, $60 for non-members
